MRSA stands for Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus. This is a very infectious disease of the skin. MRSA resists treatment by Methicillin, which is an antibiotic that usually cures infections! Pimples, rashes, pus-filled boils, especially when warm, painful, red or swollen, can mean that you have a staph skin infection. See a doctor, if you have any of these symptoms. Over use of antibiotics is often for unnecessary reasons it maybe leading to resistant infections like MRSA.
