Matter is everything. Matter can be anything made of molecules and atoms. Matter also needs to have mass It can be that chair or water. Matter has 5 different stages. They are solid, liquid, gas. plasma. Mass also has physical and chemical changes to it. An example of a chemical change would be water changing into hydrogen peroxide. A physical change would be water turning into ice. Matter also has physical and chemical properties. An example of a physical property would be density. Density is the mass of a substance per unit volume. The chemical properties can only be observed by changing the identity of a substance.

Pluto
Pluto. This is the second largest dwarf planet. It was originally called our 9Th planet, but now is a part of the Kuiper Belt. This planet is made of rock and ice. It is also very small. It is smaller than seven of the solar systems moons [Io, The Moon, Europa, Titan, Triton, Ganymede.] Pluto was discovered in 1930. In Roman mythology Pluto means the god of the underworld. The planet was given its name probably because it is locatedd in darkness. Pluto takes 228 years to orbit the sun. That is LONG!!!! Neptune take 249 years. That is much more that Pluto.
