Hurricane Season Back

Hurricanes are one of the most horrible natural disasters known to mankind. It is a tropical cyclone. They usually begin as tropical storms. The they become incredible waves and violent storms. They start at 74mph and then they get worse. It depends on the type of hurricane Type Two has 96-110 mph winds. Type Three has 111-130 mph winds. Type Four goes from 131 to 155 mph winds. Type Five Winds are greater than 155 mph. This shows how dangerous these hurricanes are. They are also very destructive. They take away many houses and lives. Even after many years people do not recover from hurricanes.

Weather is all around us. It is a day to day conditioning of a certain place. Climate is a normal pattern of weather experiences in a particular place over a period of time. Climate effects many things. Such as the clothes we wear, the things we eat, and the way we travel. Every season has different ways of living in it. Climate has our four seasons- winter, spring, summer, and fall. Seasons occur on the position of the earth and the distance from the sun. For example when we have summer the earth is facing the sun completely. Weather is a part of our daily lives. Weather is all around us. Weather helps us dress correctly. It is a very useful thing.

Telephone

Technology has changed drastically since the last 30 years. We have come out with many new gadgets and gizmo's, but we have also improved our other inventions. One example is the telephone. Telephones were create for the purpose of communication. Once the telephone was invented, many things were done to improve it. In the early 1960's the cell phone was invented. Earlier people only had phones for home. They never had the fancy expensive ones. People have seen many changes for the telephone. We have so many brands and styles now. Technoloy has really advanced.

If a rock has minerals that make money, it is called an ore. Some rocks are beautiful. Some rocks such as pyrite and amethyst. Different minerals in rocks make up gem stones such as rubies, sapphire's, and emeralds. The next time you toss a stone or kick a rock, look closely because it may have something valuable inside!!!
